Last weekend we made a super fast trip to Utah. With Justin having recently started his new job, he is yet to accrue any vacation time. But luckily his boss gave him a day and a half off so that we could attend his baby sisters wedding.
We left Thursday mid morning and had some unfortunate delays due to construction. We finally arrived at our hotel in Orem around 2am. Needless to say it was a short night. We were up, dressed and at Justin's parents house around 9:30 Friday morning.
We hung out with our cute little nieces during the temple ceremony.
They were so adorable in their matching pink dresses.
(sorry about the lower quality of pictures...all were taken on my cellphone)
After a parade of "Just Married" couples, it was finally time for Mr & Mrs Hansen to come bursting through the doors. And when they did there were loud cheers, big smiles and even a few tears of joy.
Beautiful fresh flowers at the reception.
Sisterly Love.
Father-Daughter Dance
About a Girl....A pretty dress...an iPhone movie...
...and cheesecake with an endless supply of fresh strawberries.
Life is good.
At first we debated making the drive back all in one day, but after a really good nights sleep we arrived home late Saturday night.
Zooey declared Sunday to be a day in bed. I didn't have any objections!
LOL!
Even though it was a whirl-wind trip, we were so happy that we were able to be a part of the special day. Congratulations Cami & Josh!
