My Family Christmas Weekend

My family was finally able to get together for "Christmas" this weekend.  We gathered at our house in Lincoln this year.  We stayed up in to the wee hours of the night Friday playing cards and sharing laughs.  Sadly in our Boys vs Girls Showdown, the girls fell short.  But it was still fun.

Saturday morning we opened presents, played more cards and managed to take a couple family pictures.

 While the girls were preparing lunch, the boys played poker.  But since we do not have poker chips yet, they had to come up with "dares" for the losers to do.  A couple of examples were, kissing your spouse, tickling your spouse.....

 As the snow started to fall Saturday afternoon, our guests left to get on the road before the storm that we were forcasted to have got worse.  The weekend visit went way too fast, but it was so much fun.
