Tonight is the season opener for the Nebraska Football team. The Huskers take on Western Michigan at 6 o'clock tonight. It will be the first game under the new direction of head coach Pelini. I hope it is a sign of good things to come. GO BIG RED!

I'm happy to report that the Huskers won their season open against Western Michigan University, 47-24. YAY!
I'm sad that the Huskers aren't playing USC this season...that would have been a fun rivalry to exploit. :) But I can also, with clear conscience, now wish them all the best of luck in their season!
