Last Sunday we went to see the performance of comedian Jeff Dunham. We arrived at the Pershing Center right as the doors opened and eagerly made it to our seats. AMAZING! We had absolutely amazing seats.
You can see how excited we are for our favorite comedian! We sat for the next hour, still not believing how close we were and that we were actually going to see Jeff perform live. Finally after what seemed like forever, the show started. There was a warm up comedian, who was pretty funny and then "guitar guy," who was awesome. After another short break, the man who we were all there to see made his Nebraska debut. The crowd went crazy!
This picture is of my favorite character, Walter. It also shows you how close to the stage we were.....no zoom on this shot. Walter lived up to his expectations and was absolutely hilarious. Next was "Achmed, the Dead Terrorist." This is Justin's favorite character. Then came Peanut.
Peanut was a huge hit. He did his best to make fun of Nebraska people and the production of corn. I have never laughed so much in my life! In the end Jose Jalopeno, made an appearance too (on a steek).
For his encore presentation he brought the popular "Bubba J." This character seemed to be the favorite and many of the members of the audience recited the skit as it was performed.
After 2 hours of nonstop laughs the show came to an end....all good things do. I wish it could have gone on forever! :) If anyone has an opportunity to see this very talented comedian I strongly suggest doing so! He is absolutely hilarious and you will be in for one heck of a side-splitting ride!
